Twelve house rules. Plain words.

The same manners we teach children: knock, say what you are, say when you don't know, don't rush people, give the important parts back.

03 · the tallyfrom the commons

What people keep for themselves

Every list written in Mine. stays with the person who wrote it. Some people give a few items to the commons. This board counts them. When five or more people keep the same thing, it becomes a candidate rule.

04 · how it workstwo files, one floor

    Everyone has a part

    People

Write a personal never-list with Mine., paste it into their AI, and give a few items to the commons if they like.

    Makers

Publish /manners.txt at their site or app's root to say their AI follows it.

    Agents

Read both before acting. manners.txt is the floor for everyone; mine.txt adds what's personal.

    05 · by the commonspropose a rule

    Anyone can propose a rule

Every rule is proposed in public and every change is visible. A rule gets in when it passes four tests:

    1. It fits on one line.
    2. A 12-year-old understands it.
    3. It protects people, not companies.
    4. You could imagine your grandmother asking for it.
